Last-minute Christmas gift for your WoW buddies
I know I procrastinate when it comes to buying gifts, especially when I don't exactly know what my friends and family want for Christmas. I know what I'm getting a few of my WoW buddies though - Zygor's leveling guide. They may already have Wrath of the Lich King or might be getting it for Christmas, but either way, Zygor's guides are a perfect gift.

He's gone through and fixed all the bugs everyone's found and made some changes to make the guides even more efficient. Our Ready for Wrath? contest has come to a close, and boy, was it a success. Nearly 1,000 suggestions! Thank you everyone for contributing and I'll get your macros up on the site as soon as I can.
A huge congrats goes out to our winners. They were chosen at random via in-game /roll, but I recognize a few names in there that put in a good amount of effort to make more than a few suggestions. Great work guys (and gals)!

Okay, this is going to be big. Kind of an early Christmas present for you, and I'm feeling generous. Here's the prize bin: 
- A Wrath of the Lich King Collector's Edition
- Two copies of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion
- Three 60-day prepaid World of Warcraft time cards
- And ten copies of Zygor's 1-80 Leveling Guide for Alliance and Horde
So now you're probably wondering how do you get your hands on one of these prizes. It's actually very simple. Because I can't be an expert at every class, many of the macros here are no longer useful or viable. This is where you come in.
Simply visit any of the class or macro pages and find the link near the bottom to suggest a new macro or improve the one you selected. When you fill out the form, it helps to describe/introduce the macro and its use before including the actual macro. All valid entries will earn you a ticket into the contest.
You can also link to us from your guild site or blog for additional tickets. You'll need to contact us to let us know where the link is so we can count it towards your total. Contributing in these ways will help us grow into the best macro resource and community out there.
Just after midnight on November 12th I'll be randomly selecting 16 winners from the list of all the contributions we've received. You won't be able to win more than one prize, but the more you contribute the better your chances are of winning. I'll be emailing each of the winners with details for claiming their prize.
Update: Sorry about the downtime earlier, not sure what happened. I've had questions about EU players participating - that's completely fine with me! But keep in mind it's going to take some time to ship your prize overseas.
Redesigned! What do you think?
After months of tinkering, I've completed the design and I'm nearly finished giving WoW Macros its much needed overhaul. In the coming weeks, you'll begin to see the macros change around a bit and some design tweaks here and there. I'll be having you help with some of these improvements, but more about that in the next post.
